ABOUT US

It started simply — a pickup truck, fresh eggs, and a handshake promise to show up and deliver. More than 40 years later, that promise is still the foundation of everything Imondi Foods does.

Founded by Tom Imondi, the company grew from humble beginnings into the largest family-owned bakery supply company in New England, built on three core commitments: dependable service, quality products, and lasting customer relationships.

In 2004, Imondi Foods relocated its warehouse to West Warwick, R.I., expanding its service area and product lines to meet growing demand. The next generation soon followed — family members Kelsey Imondi and James Lanciotti joined the business, bringing fresh operational and corporate expertise while staying true to what made the company great.

In 2022, industry veteran Tony Carmelo joined as Director of Sales, adding 25+ years of baking and customer service experience, and opening new doors for the company's growth. Then in spring 2024, Imondi Foods moved into its current home — a state-of-the-art 140,000 sq/ft facility in Lincoln, R.I., featuring 20 loading docks and advanced refrigeration built for scale.

That same summer, John Schleer joined the team, bringing over 30 years of expertise that's helped expand coverage and grow the product line even further.

Today, Imondi Foods services bakeries and food manufacturers across all of New England and Eastern New York — SQF and Organic certified, with a full-time maintenance crew and an 18+ truck fleet keeping product moving every day.
